Starting from January 1st 2010, all institutions providing post secondary school education will have to be registered with the Higher Education Commission.
That is the revelation by Education Minister, Filipe Bole who said that this is part of the Higher Education Promulgation 2008 that comes into effect next year.
Bole adds that the new Law applies to TVET centres, IT centres, technical institutes as well as hospitality centres or any centre college or University that provides a Certificate, Diploma or Advanced Diploma.
Bole adds this Law will allow for a streamlining of education in the country.
