“The inside backs should create more opportunity for our wings.”
That’s the word of Vodafone Flying Fijians backline coach Andre Bell during their training session yesterday at the ANZ Stadium.
Bell who used to be Jamie Joseph’s assistant when they coached the Wellington Lions from 2008 to 2011 said there is a lot of talent in Fiji’s backline.
Bell said the main challenge is to bring the team together within a week.
He added that Italy has a big forward pack that likes to use one-off runners.
He believes they will be really difficult to combat with an exciting backline.
