An official inquiry into the bus tragedy at Malaqereqere, Sigatoka by the Transport Ministry will begin today.
The Transport Ministry had confirmed the inquiry team includes officials from Transport Ministry, Ministry of Health, National Road Safety Council, National Fire Authority and the Fiji Police Force.
Transport Ministry Spokeswoman Sainiana Waqainabete had confirmed that a cabinet paper is also being prepared by the ministry to make changes to the LTA Act which will see the condition of buses being reviewed every 6 months.
