Seven key players in the Newnet Ratu Kadavulevu School under 18 side are in doubt ahead of their quarter finals clash against Suva Grammar School in the Coke Zero Deans competition this Saturday.
RKS Principal Beniamino Tawake confirmed that these players suffered injuries in their Eastern Zone final against QVS last weekend.
Tawake said their aim of taking the Deans title to Delainakaikai will be a lot tougher now.
RKS scored some well worked tries last week from their set pieces followed with an enterprising play from their forwards and the pace of their back-line.
The current RKS Under 18 team was crowned Under 17 champions last year where they beat Lelean in the finals.
Looking at the Deans national quarter finals, RKS will face Suva Grammar School, QVS against Navuso Agricultural School, Lelean faces Marist Brothers High School while Ratu Navula College will take on John Wesley College.
The Coke Zero quarter finals will be held at the ANZ Stadium this Saturday.
