Corey Flynn's Super 14 rugby campaign could be over because of a suspected fractured arm.

The Crusaders hooker's left arm will be examined today to determine whether he has fractured the same bone that forced him out of the All Blacks end-of-season tour in November and potentially faces another lengthy recovery period.

Crusaders doctor Tony Page yesterday said they would wait until today before attempting to determine the exact damage.

Flynn, who has had an appalling run of arm injuries during his career, has steel rods in both limbs.

The pain that forced him out of the 18-16 loss to the Brumbies last night is in the same spot as the injury that ended his All Blacks tour.

The Crusaders will host the Hurricanes in this weekend's Super 14 round three match in Christchurch at 6:35pm on Friday.
