Vodafone Fiji 7s coach Ben Ryan has confirmed that there are some injuries in the team but he will not reveal anything to the media.
The Fiji 7s team has settled in well in Cape Town following their victory over England in the opening round of the World Rugby Sevens Series in Dubai.
Ryan adds that the second leg comes around thick and fast with the Cape Town Sevens taking place this weekend.
With only days left before the tournament begins at the 55,000‑seater Cape Town Stadium, sold out on both days, the 16 captains gathered at Signal Hill in front of Table Mountain to launch the tournament.
Fiji plays Scotland at 9.59pm Saturday, they play Russia at 1.20am Sunday and the final pool match against Argentina will be at 5.03am Sunday.
The Cup quarter finals will start at 11.04pm Sunday, the Cup semis start at 3.34am Monday while the Cup final will kick off at 6.30am Monday.
