The Flying Fijian coaching staff has been forced to name a young backline to take on Australia A on Sunday afternoon after an injury scare hit the side this afternoon.

Coach Ilivasi Tabua has named a new combination in the inside backs as both regulars Kameli Ratuvou and Sireli Naqelevuki will start from the bench as they will have to undergo further fitness test because of injury.

Marika Vakacegu will start at inside centre ahead of Ratuvou while Vereniki Goneva takes over the outside centre position from Naqelevuki.

Also young Michael Tagicakibau gets the number 11 jumper while the only change in the forwards is at open-side flanker where 7's rep Sailosi Rabo gets his first start for the side replacing Aca Ratuva who is also injured.

The Fiji team to take on Australia A in the forwards Graham Dewes, Sunia Koto, Jone Railomo, Kele Leawere, Ifereimi Rawaqa, Semisi Naevo, Sailosi Rabo and Netani Talei.

In the backline captain Mosese Rauluni will lead the charge from halfback, Wise Luveniyali, Michael Tagicakibau, Marika Vakacegu, Vereniki Goneva, Timoci Nagusa and Dan Rawaqa.

Fiji will take on Australia A on Sunday at 4pm.
