Digicel Fiji 7s coach Iliesa Tanivula is hopeful that injured players Niumaia Cakacaka, Jerry Burotu and Lepani Nabuliwaqa will be able to be ready for the next leg of the IRB series in New Zealand.
Tanivula revealed that the side marched into camp yesterday and the trio had a trial run this morning, however they were given light training runs.
Tanivula added that the side went through the trial runs this morning to bring their fitness up to level.
Meanwhile, FRU confirmed that the national side will be a part of the Suva International 7s that will be held next month.
The Wellington 7s will be held in February in New Zealand with Fiji in Pool B with Australia, Scotland and the Waisale Serevi coached Papua New Guinea side.
