South Sydney captain Greg Inglis has been suspended for three NRL matches after pleading guilty to a grade‑two shoulder charge which left Dragons centre Josh Dugan with a broken jaw.
Inglis was slapped with the charge for the second‑half hit which flattened the NSW centre in Queensland's 18‑14 Origin III loss to the Blues at ANZ Stadium on last night.
The incident will leave Dugan sidelined for up to six weeks after he undergoes surgery to have a plate inserted into his jaw tomorrow.
Meanwhile the Dragons face the Titans at 9.50pm Friday.
In other matches, the Sea Eagles play the Warriors at 7.30pm this Saturday while the Rabbitohs battle the Broncos at 9.30pm.
