Always let your parents know where you are.
That is the advice from Police to children after 16 year old Talei Davina Koroitukana was reported missing.
Police Assistant Spokesperson, Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri said that the girl after hearing the matter reported over the radio earlier today contacted her family and informed them that she had gone to spend some time with her friends.
Sokomuri said parents should always talk to their children to know their whereabouts.
At the moment, Koroitukana is at the Nausori Police Station waiting to be picked up by her parents later this afternoon who are away at a family function.
Koroitukana was reported missing by her father last week after she went to the Coca Cola Games on the 30th of last month and did not return home.
