Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a 3-week-old baby boy at Nakasi yesterday.
Assistant Spokesperson, Corporal Josaia Weicavu has confirmed the mother found the son motionless and took him to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
According to police the mother breastfed the baby few hours before the baby was found dead.
A post mortem will be conducted today.
