Fiji Islands Revenue and Customs Authority Staff Association is alleging that the FIRCA management is refusing to meet them regarding their grievances.
General Secretary, Kenneth Zinck said the FIRCA Board is dictating the FIRCA CEO's Jitoko Tikolevu's decision to pay COLA next month. Zinck maintains that industrial action is the only option.
His comments came after FIRCA chairman Filipe Bole revealed that the Board has rejected COLA payouts for all staff and opted for bonus payments based on this year's performance.
Board Chairman, Filipe Bole told Village News that the board has decided on a 2% bonus for only those people who deserve the payment.
