Defending Sanyo and now Digicel Cup Champions Tailevu lost to Suva by 21-15 in the fifth round of competition at Albert Park yesterday.

Tailevu Coach Inoke Male said indiscipline cost his sides lose.


In a statement to Fijivillage Sports, Male said that their game plan was to use the forwards but indiscipline made them lose focus and that resulted in them not functioning well and they gave away too many penalties.

Suva led 15-10 at half-time and first five eight Semiti Raikuna kicked two penalties in the second half for the capital city to beat Tailevu.

In other games Nadroga maintained their unbeaten run with a 15-7 win against Namosi while Naitasiri defeated Ovalau 16-8.

Nadi recorded the biggest score of round 5 with a 47-5 win against Tavua, Lautoka were edged by Northland 17-15 while Navosa beat Rewa by 12-6.
