The Indian National charged in an illegal human trafficking scam was today granted bail by the Suva Magistrates Court.

Sridha Nimmagadda who has been charged along with three local businessmen with eight counts of trafficking in person, appeared before Magistrate Eparama Rokoika, and was granted bail on strict conditions.

Nimmagadda has been released on a $1000 assurity bail and has been ordered to report to the Nausori Police station three times a week, and not to interfere with the witnesses.

The case has been adjourned to the 7th of December.

Nimmagadda along with three local businessmen Rohit Prasad Trivedi, Satnam Singh and Surendra Menon are allegedly involved in the human trafficking scheme which resulted in the arrest of 13 Indian nationals.
