The Indian High Commission in Fiji is concerned that students from Fiji who are awarded scholarships to study in India tend to leave their course midway and return home.

India's High Commissioner to Fiji Prabhakar Jha said they want to work with the Ministry's of Foreign Affairs and Education and Public Service Commission to find a solution to ensure students who are awarded scholarships complete their studies.

Jha said it is regrettable as students lose the enthusiasm and some actions have to be taken.
