The Indian Government will provide every possible assistance to the Interim government to have elections as soon as possible.
Indian High Commissioner to Fiji, Prabhakar Jha told Fijivillage News this morning that they want democratic rule to be restored in Fiji and any possible assistance will be provided.
Jha added that the Chairman of the Electoral Commission M.K Sahu Khan met with him a few months ago to discuss the option to have an electronic voting machine, however till now no formal approach has been made.
