India has booked a spot in the finals of the Cricket World Cup after beating Pakistan by 29 runs this morning.
Batting first, India made 260 for 9 after winning the toss, with Pakistan all out in the final over for 231.
Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni said the win is special for the side and they were told to aim for a win right from the start.
Pakistan captain, Shahid Afridi said that though they lost, they played their hearts out.
Meanwhile, India's Sachin Tendulkar was the top scorer for the side and man of the match, making 85 and was dropped four times in the innings which still left him one short of a 100 international centuries.
The Indian/ Sri Lanka Cricket world cup final will be played in Mumbai on Saturday.
