Stakeholders in the tourism industry are expecting an increase in visitors from China, Malaysia and Taiwan this year with Fiji's Overseas based Missions working overtime to try and attract people to the country.
Interim Minister for Tourism Bernadette Rounds-Ganilau said there has been a postive response from these countries.
She also revealed that talks are underway with investors from Korea who are keen on investing millions of dollars in the tourism industry in Fiji.
The Interim Minister said these are good signs for the industry, on which the nations hopes are hinging upon for the much needed recovery this year.
