Police have raised concern on the increasing number of fake notes now in circulation around the country.
Assistant Police Spokesperson, Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri said people should be careful while handling notes after a $10 fake note was discovered by a bank teller in the Western Division yesterday.
Inspector Sokomuri said the teller at ANZ Bank Namaka Branch discovered the note yesterday which is believed to have been deposited by someone after which the matter was reported to police.
Investigations continue.
