Relevant authorities are now working on ways to seize the assets of those people who are behind drug paddling in Fiji.
It has been established earlier that marijuana dealings in Fiji is generating millions of dollars with people continuing with the cultivation and transporting of marijuana as it has become a lucrative source of income for some.
However, the Fiji Police Force said they are working out some avenues which will deter these people from continuing with alleged drug paddling.
Officer-In-Charge Drugs ASP Sakeo Ganivatu said the Fiji Police Force is concerned with the increase in number of drug paddlers around the country.
Ganivatu confirmed some major steps are expected to be taken soon.
