The increase in crime like rape and robbery with violence in the province of Serua will be discussed in the Serua Provincial Council meeting tomorrow.
Roko Tui Serua, Ratu Sireli Vananalagi said Serua's image has been tarnished after numerous cases of rapes and robberies recently highlighted in the media.
Vananalagi said from last year, the provincial council has worked together with the Navua police in visiting villagers and enaging with village elders and youths on crime prevention.
Meanwhile, Vananalagi said the GCC Review Committee led by Ratu Jo Nawalowalo will also present a paper regarding the new GCC appointments and he also confirmed a team from the National Council for Building a Better Fiji will make a presentation on the proposed People's Charter.
