The Fiji Bus Operators Association has requested for increase in bus fare following increase in prices of fuel on Wednesday.

Association General Secretary Rohit Latchan said he cannot reveal how much increase they have requested for as they are still discussing with the Minister for Transport and the Land Transport Authority.

Ratu Eroni said LTA will discuss the proposal with its board members after which the proposal will be forwarded to the Ministry of Transport to put a final paper before cabinet.
