Latest statistics show that income from motor vehicle sales continues to increase.

Although the statistics do not highlight the number of vehicles sold, there has been a significant growth in the level of income for motor vehicle traders through the sale of vehicles.

The sales revenue figure has jumped by $13 million from the year 2008 to 2010.

In 2008, revenue from vehicle sales in Fiji was $93.38 million, in the year 2009 the sales revenue went up to $97.08 million while last year revenue from vehicle sales stood at $106.36 million.

The highest sales revenue figure since 2008 was recorded in the first quarter of last year, and stood at $27.71 million.

All the four quarters of last year recorded higher sales revenue compared to the same period in 2008 and 2009.
