The new cabinet will have its first meeting tomorrow.

In a statement, Interim Prime Minister Commodore Frank Bainimarama said that he is looking forward to the first meeting where a number of important issues will be discussed.

Bainimarama stated that the interim government is committed to laying a solid foundation for growth and prosperity by fulfilling the mandate set by President Ratu Josefa Iloilo.

He adds the new cabinet is much more compact and streamlined and will focus on delivering basic services to the people of Fiji who have been deprived of it for many years.
