The Digicel Fiji 7s team must now win both their remaining pool games to reach the quarterfinal stages at the Australia 7s tournament in Adelaide.

The Iliesa Tanivula coached side lost their opening pool match to Wales last night by 17-12.

Discipline cost Fiji the match after Osea Kolinisau was sin-binned in the second half.

Fiji led 12-0 with tries from Setefano Cakau and Nasoni Roko but Wales had upper hand when Kolinisau was sent off and they took full advantage of it and caused the biggest upset of the day.

Fiji 7s Manager Jope Tuivanuavou said the players just didn’t click yesterday and they are expecting to bounce back today.
