Interim Prime Minister Commodore Frank Bainimarama has revealed that the interim government has made significant achievements, however, there is scope for better performance in a number of areas.

He said its now 8 months since the swearing in of the interim government by President Ratu Josefa Iloilo and it’s in the interests of transparency and accountability to the nation.

He added the government has been working extremely hard to ensure that they progress towards their goal of building Fiji for all.

Bainimarama said he is keen to see progress in all ministries, particularly in terms of facilitation of new investment, developmental activities in the rural areas, improvements in the provision of public utilities and higher levels of public service delivery.

He said he will be taking keen interest in monitoring the performance of individual ministers in this regards on a regular basis.
