I'll go there with a positive attitude and an open mind.

These are the words of the Interim Minister for Foreign Affairs Ratu Epeli Nailatikau in an interview with the Department of Information, on the Pacific Islands Forum Foreign Ministers Meeting to begin this coming week in Auckland.

Fiji is on the agenda whereby an assessment will be made on Fiji's situation one year on from the military takeover of December 5th, 2006.

Ratu Epeli said he will be presenting a report on the progress of the interim government over the past 12 months, which will include the progress made on the People' Character and the lifting of travel bans on members of the interim government.

The Interim Foreign Affairs Minister will be accompanied by the Permanent Secretary for the PM's Office Parmesh Chand, the Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs, Ross Ligairi and the Permanent Secretary in the AG's Office Pio Tikoduadua.

The group leaves for Auckland on Tuesday, attend the meeting on Wednesday and return to Fiji on Thursday.
