I've always wanted to sing and it’s my dream to become a singer.
These are the words of eight-year-old Kenyan Roddina Ndombi, who is the youngest contestant vying for the title of the FMF VTY Fijian Idol. She added that she wants to become a professional singer, actor and dancer, and that the competition was perfect for her to showcase her talent.
The eight-year-old said it was nice to be the youngest and she feels no pressure at all taking part in the contest.
Ndombi is among 20 other youths who will compete at the Alliance Française Fiji Music Fest and the winner of the competition will win $500.
The competition takes place on June 21st at Ratu Sukuna Park.
