Awarding winning five star resort, the Jean-Michel Cousteau resort in Savusavu believes it is the ideal time to invest in Fiji's tourism industry.
Resort Manager Craig Taylor said prospecting investors must not be deterred by reports on the political situation in the country.
Taylor also confirms that despite the difficult circumstances, their resort performed well throughout the year.
The Jean Michel Cousteau resort last week was awarded Fiji's best Delux resort and Fiji's best vila in two of the top awards voted on by 167,000 travel professionals worldwide.
