The organizing of the Fiji Water Centennial International 7s is vital for the FRU because the IRB will closely monitor the tournament.
FRU chairman Filimoni Waqabaca said they have to ensure that this tournament is organized well because the IRB will send their representatives to assess how everything turns out.
Waqabaca added this is all done to ensure that Fiji will feature in the World 7s Series.
16 teams will take part in the tournament which includes Argentina, France, Kenya, Samoa, USA, Australia, and Tonga.
The Fiji Water Centennial International 7s will be held at the ANZ Stadium on the 4th and 5th of October.
