Fiji can get a chance to host one of the IRB World 7s Series tournaments in the near future.
IRB's General Manager Pacific Islands William Glenwright said it looks odd, the IRB 7s Series tournaments being played in other parts of the world with Fiji being the reigning World Cup 7s champion.
Glenwright said every effort is being looked at now to have at least one tournament in the Pacific region.
Meanwhile, the 2008/2009 IRB World 7s Series will start in December with the Dubai and George 7s tournaments.
