IDC Pools Still Wide Open
After yesterday pool game Nadroga leads Pool 1 with 5 points from the 3 games the side will need a win in their last pool game against Labasa this afternoon at 1.30pm to qualify for the semi-final.
Labasa is at second place with 4 points from 2 games and have 2 games at hand against Nadroga at 1.30pm and Rewa at 6.45pm this evening.
Nadi and Rewa both have 2 points after playing two games and will face each other at 12.15pm before the jet-setters will take on Suva at 5.30pm and the delta-tigers plays Labasa at 6.45pm.
Suva is yet to win a game after losing both pool games yesterday and has no points.
In Pool 2, Lautoka leads with 7 points from 3 games and will play Navua in the crucial pool game at 8pm.
Navua is at second spot with 4 points from 2 games and will take on Tavua at 9.45am and play Lautoka later in the evening at 8pm.
Tavua with 2 games has 3 points and has to beat soccer giants Ba and Navua to be in the semi-final.
Defending champion Ba although they have 2 points from 2 games face Tavua and Nasinu who are out of the IDC.
Results from yesterday's match: Labasa held Nadi to a nil all draw, Nasinu went down to Navua 4-0, Rewa held Nadroga to a 2-all draw, Lautoka thumped Tavua 3 - nil, Suva went down to Nadroga 1-0 while in the final two matches of the day saw both the Rewa / Suva and Navua / Ba matches at a nil-all draw.
Games coming up this morning will see Ba take on Nasinu at 11am which you can hear a live commentary of on Radio Sargam as well as the matches at 12.15pm where Nadi take on Rewa and Nadroga meet Labasa at 1.30pm.
