Vodafone Fiji 7s coach Ben Ryan has made a clear statement that he will not force any player in the under 18 7s team to represent their country in the Youth Olympic Games.

This comes after five Ratu Kadavulevu School under 18 players decided to represent their School in the final of the Coke Zero Deans Trophy competition next week.

Ryan said players will have to decide as this is an opportunity for them to create history for Fiji.

The five players are team captain Epineri Uluiviti, Filimoni Nawabalavu, Filipe Nasilasila, Joseva Rauga and speedster Timoci Meya.

Six teams will compete for gold at the upcoming Youth Olympic Games. They are Fiji, Argentina, Kenya, USA, Japan and France.

The Youth Olympic Games will be held in China from the 17th to the 20th of this month.
