Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama said he may stand in the 2014 general elections and he said he is also confident that if he stands in the elections, he will win.

Commodore Bainimarama also said people like former Prime Minister, Laisenia Qarase can also stand but he stressed that the electoral system will not be race based.

The Prime Minister has told Sky News that he will make the final decision on whether he will stand in the elections after the constitution and electoral process is complete.
