Digicel Fiji 7s Coach Iliesa Tanivula stands by the decision of the Fiji Rugby Union Board in selecting him to replace Waisale Serevi.
Speaking to Fijivillage upon arrival at Nadi Airport this morning, Tanivula said he cannot perform miracles overnight as he was called in, at the 11th hour.
The Namotomoto native knows the rugby public is against him, but the soft spoken "Tani" said "it is part of the job".
Tanivula adds his boys were fit but the Kenyans capitalised on the errors made by the Fijians.
The Digicel Fiji 7s team will have three days off before they prepare for the Hong Kong 7s later this month.
The team to Hong Kong includes in the forwards: Pio Tuwai, Seremaia Burotu, William Rasileka, Suliasi Ramasima, Apisai Naiyabo, Waqabaca Kotobalavu and Watisoni Votu.
