SODELPA Leader Sitiveni Rabuka has today told Fijivillage that he does not know why he is being blamed for everything in the country from 1987 to 1999.

When questioned on what he will do to gain the trust of the people who are disgusted by his acts from the 1987 coups, Rabuka said he cannot take the blame for everything.

Rabuka confirmed that he is part of the SODELPA caucus deliberations outside parliament however he is leaving the parliamentary floor battle to those who are occupying the opposition benches.

He also said that he does not have any input in SODELPA’s debate on the 2016/2017 National Budget.

PM Voreqe Bainimarama

Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama confirmed that he will not have a debate with Rabuka at this stage as requested by Salote Radrodro and Mosese Bulitavo.

He said Rabuka is nothing as he is not in parliament.

Rabuka agrees that a debate is irrelevant at this stage.

When asked on Bainimarama’s comments that he will take Rabuka to the cleaners in the debate when it does happen, Rabuka had this to say.
