Athletics Fiji President Albert Miller said it is time to focus on the future and he said his committee is the legitimate body to look after athletics in the country.

Miller has made this comment as two opposing bodies are both claiming that they are the legal body representing Athletics Fiji.

Miller and his committee who were ousted in a meeting in December last year were voted back in during the Special General Meeting over the weekend.

The other group is led by Doctor Ayoade Alakija which claims that they are the legitimate executive committee of Athletics Fiji.

The group’s General Secretary Roy Ravana claims that the Special General Meeting was illegal and Albert Miller and his group were not appointed under the constitution.

However, Albert Miller said proper processes were followed.
