I am here to make amends, and that is the main reason why I am joining the Flying Fijians team again.

These are sentiments of Rupeni Caucaunibuca, after he was selected into the 24-man squad to represent Fiji in a one-off Test against the Wallabies and the Pacific Nations Cup competition in Samoa.

Speaking from Nadi yesterday after the selection, Caucau said many things have been said about him, and understands there are rumors going around that he wants to play at five eighth.

However, the Bua native said that most of them were negative comments and he would like to right the wrongs and prove his critics wrong.

Caucau, whose career has been interrupted by a long list of disciplinary problems and a three month ban in 2007 after testing positive for cannabis, scored 13 tries from 25 games for Agen in France this season.

Meanwhile, Clermont based Napolioni Nalaga has shown great support to the inclusion of Caucau to the Flying Fijians team, and said that the Bua flyer will bring in the "lost touch" to Fijian rugby that any coach is looking for.

The Flying Fijians will leave for Canberra on June 2nd and the match will be played on June 5th.
