One of the ousted SDL government members who filed the treason complaint with the police, Samisoni Tikoinasau confirmed that he never went into hiding over the weekend as reported by some media outlets.
Tikoinasau said he did not receive any calls from the police and the military and he only knew that Ted Young was the only one who was allegedly asked to go to the police station.
When Fijivillage questioned Tikoinasau why it had taken them 20 months to file such a complaint, he said it is their constitutional right and the authorities should now follow the law to investigate the matter.
