The former Nasinu Mayor has today admitted that he owes money to his Council after Town Clerk made claims that some Councilors owe rates.
Rajeshwar Kumar said they do not need to be questioned on this as they are also human beings who have other major expenses to concentrate on.
Nasinu Town Clerk Satish Kumar has raised concern that the rates owed to the council is standing at $8 million dollars which has accumulated over the last 8 years.
Kumar added if the councilors themselves did not clear their rates, how could they expect the common man to pay theirs.
