A 36 year old woman has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm after allegedly stabbing her husband following a dispute.
Assistant Police Spokesperson Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri said the two argued over some money after which the woman allegedly stabbed her 40 year old husband twice in the chest with a knife.
Sokomuri said the man is currently admitted in the CWM hospital.
Meanwhile in another incident in the Western Division, Sokomuri confirmed that a 27 year old man allegedly struck his 29 year old brother on the head with a beer bottle.
He confirmed the incident happened yesterday following an argument, and now the 29yr old brother is admitted at the Lautoka Hospital with multiple injuries.
The 27yr old is still being questioned by police.
