Hurricanes coach Chris Boyd has rested All Black Beaden Barrett for their home match against the Rebels at Westpac Stadium tomorrow.
Boyd has opted to start James Marshall in Barrett’s place and he will partner with halfback TJ Perenara who will run on for his 50th match.
Also taking a break this week is prop Ben Franks, along with Julian Savea, which has allowed Boyd to shuffle his back three.
Matt Proctor comes in for Savea, while Jason Woodward will start at fullback.
The Hurricanes currently top the super rugby standings with 22 points, second are the Brumbies with 20 points while the Stormers trail in third place with 16 points.
They will face the Rebels tomorrow at 6.35pm.
