Although the Hurricanes are yet to record a win in the 2016 Super Rugby competition, their coach Chris Boyd says Friday’s match against the Blues will not frighten them.
The Blues lost 28-13 to the Crusaders last weekend and will look to regain their momentum.
Boyd says they were happy with the improved performance last weekend but will need to be more clinical to register a win.
Meanwhile after Round two of the Super Rugby, the only sides that are yet to register a win are the Hurricanes, Reds, Sunwolves and the Kings.
The Hurricanes is the only team in the New Zealand conference that is yet to win a Super Rugby title.
The Hurricanes will meet the Blues at 6.35pm Friday while the Brumbies will face Western Force at 8.40pm.
