The Wellington Hurricanes are placed eighth on the table but are one point outside the top six teams.
Captain Conrad Smith, Beauden Barrett, Julian Savea and Cory Jane are expected to combine well in the backline in a must win game for the Hurricanes.
The Hurricanes will face the Chiefs at 7:35pm this Friday.
