The Hurricanes continued their perfect start to the Super Rugby campaign by picking up their seventh straight win, after holding off the Stormers 25‑20 in Wellington last night.
All of the Hurricanes points were scored in the first half and they led 25‑3 at halftime but the Stormers dominated the second half on the stats and the scoreboard by scoring 17 unanswered points.
Next weekend the Hurricanes have a bye while the Stormers head over to Australia to face the current Super Rugby champion Waratahs.
Meanwhile, the Rebels picked up their first home win of the season as they beat a 14‑man Reds 23‑15 in Melbourne.
In today’s matches, the Chiefs will play the Blues at 6.35pm while the Brumbies will take on the Cheetahs at 8.40pm.
