The Hurricanes came from behind by 10 points to beat the Blues 37‑27 in Wellington and move back into Super Rugby’s top eight.
The Hurricanes move up to 44 points in the New Zealand Super Rugby Conference which is just two points behind the Chiefs who are the overall leaders.
Meanwhile the Stormers will remain on top of the Africa 1 Super Rugby Conference for another week after they beat the Rebels 31‑57 in Melbourne.
The Stormers 57 points is their biggest ever in Super Rugby against all teams including the Rebels as it surpasses the 56 points they scored against the Lions in 2009.
In the other matches, Cheetahs edged the Force 30-29, Highlanders thrashed the Kings 48-18 and the Lions beat Sharks 37-10.
The match coming up today, the Jaguares will face the Bulls at 9.40am.
