DISMAC has confirmed that so far three people have lost their lives during Hurricane Tomas.
Acting Director, Pajiliai Dobui said there is still confusion around the death of 31 year old woman in Cakaudrove who drowned while swimming during a picnic with her family.
The second is that of a man in Seaqaqa who also drowned while attempting to cross the flooded Seaqaqa River.
And the third death is that of a Rabi islander which is still to be confirmed but is believed to have been buried, in a landslide.
