Police are now looking for the driver of the private vehicle who fled the scene after a fatal accident in Lomawai Sigatoka yesterday evening.
Two men aged 34 and 49 years lost their life at the scene after the vehicle they were traveling in collided head on with a minivan headed towards Nadi.
The private vehicle was headed toward Sigatoka when the driver is believed to have lost control of the vehicle and veered on the opposite lane colliding with the minivan which had 9 passengers.
Four people were traveling in the private vehicle including the driver and while two passengers died instantly, one is admitted at the hospital while the drive is now on the run.
