Police are looking for the driver of a silver grey Toyota Camry vehicle who is alleged to be purchasing items using fake notes.

According to Police spokesperson, Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri, the driver gave $110 to a bowser attendant on Wednesday.

The denominations included all $10 which were counterfeit.

Sokomuri said the attendant could not see the registration of the vehicle however could only notice that it was a silver grey Toyota Camry.

Meanwhile, a $10 fake note was found by a cashier at a supermarket in Rakiraki yesterday.

Police have called on businessmen and people doing their shopping to be wary of counterfeit notes.
