The hunt is still on for four men who were involved in a robbery at the Kundan Singh Supermarket in Tamavua on Thursday night.

According to police the men armed with cane knives and pinchbars entered the supermarket and threatened the employees before fleeing with the till containing cash and some other items.

The vehicle that was used as a getaway vehicle is still missing.

The red Toyota Hilux twincab registration FN 572 was stolen from Nakasi on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Director Traffic SSP Mahesh Mishra has called on drivers to be alert and considerate while driving on the roads.

SSP Mishra said Police Traffic Control will be on the road to ensure road users are safe.

He also said breathlizer tests will be conducted.

He adds there was a total of 146 traffic infringement notices issues, 85 cases of speeding while one arrest made for drink and drive.
